I've been away for quite some time. I just wanted to revisit this copper topic . I was wondering if anyone has witnessed similar reactions with copper. Here's what I did:
Copper Gluconate (can find it at GNC as "Copper2").
For one week period, I started taking gradually 1 pill a day (2mg) and worked up slowly to 4 pills (8mg) by weeks end. At 1st my twitches got worse, but then tapered off. Then I quit taking copper totally for the following week. That was the BEST week of my life where most if not all my twitches around my eyes had disappeared.
I just started this regimen up agian and I'm seeing the exact same results - very promising...
I know there are many on this site who are twitching but possibly from different causes. I'm just wondering for those that experience daily random body-wide twitching (especially around the eyelids), experience strange "electrical" sensations or sharp stabbing/shooting pains with the same random sensations, those of you who might feel deep down your BFS might be pathogen-caused (i.e. Babesiosis, Borrelia burgdorferi, or unknown germ ) might want to try "pulse" copper supplementation. Be sure to take it on a full stomach!
It might not be for all, but I really want to know from those of you who have tried this, and what affect it has had on your BFS both during and after a high copper regimen.
Disclaimer: I'm no doctor, so always consult your doctor if copper is safe for you to take.
