Constant Twitching: My Experience

It seems as the months go by, I twitch more and more. Some days are better than others, but overall I feel like a bucket of popcorn. When I sit at my desk, my legs feel like they are constantly firing. Then it will stop for a few moments and then it starts back up. I actually wonder what it looks like when it starts up like that.

I have read that many of you twitch 24/7. I am just wondering how to distinguish a flare-up from normal progression. Is it normal for this to get worse and worse? The twitching increased in frequency and hasn't let up for the last several weeks.

Lovely.
My twitching waxes and wanes. Overall, it has decreased over the past year. However, at first it definitley got worse. I remember not being able to wear pants because I could feel my muscles popping against my pants. It was so distracting. I still have flare ups, this week has been one - and guess what? this week has been the most stressful week, workwise and family wise, that I have had in awhile.
I promise, the more you think about, the worse it seems. However, if you can keep yourself otherwise occupied for an extended period of time (this means like 2-3 months) it will eventually diminish. I have been where you are, and I feel your agony. It will get better if you face it for what it is, and move on. If I sit and observe myself right at this moment, which I am, I can feel the occasional twitch at least once per minute or so. So, yeah, I guess I am still twitching a lot. But to me it has drastically improved because I am not so focused on it. Your threshold will increase.
