Constant Shoulder Popping Sensation

So last night I was trying to get to sleep and the area where my left shoulder meets my chest started to pop, atleast once a second. Ten hours later, it's still going. The only way for me to get it to stop is to lay directly on the arm. As soon as I take my weight off the shoulder it starts popping again. Its kind of like a pulling sensation but I feel a pop too. I've never had a hotspot this persistent before.

Lucky you..I had an ellbow hotspot for over a week going constantly unless i contracted that muscle very hard, and my right eyebrow twitches for over a weak now

As much as last night sucked due the rampant muscle twitching all over my body and the hotspot in my shoulder (which is still going), I have some reassuring things to focus on:* I just finished a half marathon in 1:55 which beats my last years time. I first noticed my twitching six months ago today in my calves and my legs have going 24/7 since then. So if I had something sinister that was effecting my muscles I would not have been able to do that today. Makes me feel hopeful.* my twitches are out of control hitting every muscle including my tongue and I get them every second of the day. BUT, clonazepam seems to quiet them down, as does meditation. I doubt this would be the case if it were ALS.Just some positive things to focus on! -Matt
