Constant Calf Twitching - EMG Needed?

Having a VERY bad day. The twiching in my calves today is absolutely constant...I mean non-stop. Probably in my feet and stuff too but my calves feel like popcorn.

Would this crazy popcorn-like twitching have resulted in some kind of calf weakness by now?? (3 months into this). When I went to my GP a couple week ago, she was going to get me an EMG (fueled by my anxiety, not hers). She never called back with the date and I had about 4 days with no twitching so I blew it off. Then, had a stressful day on Monday (after wearing heels over the weekend...which made my sciatic & lower back go crazy...and probably added to the twitches too). I have no weakness in my calves and can do all kinds of stupid stuff, including toe walking, heel etc...and more (which I won't even go into for fear of getting cyber-slapped). I mean my calf twitching is BAD!!! (I have tried not to look  )

Shelley, if you saw my calf’s you'd laugh your butt off. My calf’s NEVER stop. They look like Popcorn all day long.

On Sunday my brother, father, and I are going to climb Hart Mountain. It's a 4 hour climb including decent. It's extremely physically challenging and I'm not looking forward to it, but want to do something, with my brother and father, that they love.

What do the three of us have in common? - Crazy as*s endurance sports, and 24/7 calf twitching. I've twitched for probably 15 years (many twitches a second), my brother and father have both twitched as long as they can remember.

None of us show signs of weakness; seriously my old man Father runs every day.

If you had been twitching like a mad, due to ALS, you'd have signs of weakness GAURENTEED!

No worries.
