Confused about Weakness - BFS/ALS?

Hi Everyone

It seems that a distinguishing factor between BFS and ALS is weakness. Sometimes I think that I have weakness but I'm not sure. I was walking home the otehr day and my legs felt wobbly, but then they felt fine. What does this mean?I have not been diagnosed with anything, I have had blood tests doen and a nerve conduction study, but no MRI or EMG. I am thinking of going back to my neuro for these tests. I just started taking BUspar for my anxiety (which i think has increased DUE to the twitches). I have them everyone, but most bothersome in feet and legs. If anyone could explain the difference about weakness, that would be really helpful. I am terrified of ALS right now, especailly b/c a woman tht I work with (who can't be more than 35) has it. Thanks

If you can do :

1. Hop on each toe
2. Do a few sit-ups (get up without support from sitting position).
3. Walk on heels and toes
4. Jump
5. Hold your toes against applied resistance

You do not have weakness.
