Concerning BFS and Neuro Worries

So this has been worrying me, I've been to the Neuro before....but this is driving me insane.I def. pretty sure I have BFS, I have muscle jerks in my biceps/thighs. Easy Fatigue/etc..Been to the Neuro, had 2 MRi's done over 2 years....nothing.Def. not ALS since this has been going on for 2+ years AT LEAST.but my darn thumb will like "twitch" every so often (it feels like it gets stiff for a second then it'll twitch), usually at a certain position. (It's worse when I get in hot water, my Neuro said that we metabolize more when were hotter...but i've had 2 MRI's and no weakness so im pretty darn sure its not MS....plus this is pretty much constant). It goes away sometimes but sometimes it'll be bad for like a few weeks or so. Anyways it's mainly my right thumb but my main Concern is Parkinsons.Im 26 so that'd seem rare, especially with no family history. It's def. a "Twitch" and not a tremor (like it'll twitch once then stop, it's not constant). It's at rest and when arm is suspended or w/e (but seems more positional, as in if my thumb is closer to my finger it'll twitch more likely).Any chance of this being parkinsons, I stopped worrying about it for awhile...but it's been seriously worrying me this past few weeks (This has been happening for at least a year, I have no other "PD" symptoms). Im assuming PD tremors are more of a fluid motion? because this is kind of a "jerk" real quick (and it's def. not "worse" at rest by any means, if I relax my arms and hands it pretty much won't happen).

My right thumb has been twitching all day. Driving me nuts. It doesn't twitch once, it will twitch several times a minute - kind of like an eyelid twitch. I've had this before... I think it can all be chalked up to BFS.Mitra

Mine comes and goes, but I think it may have to do with me being a Programmer. My thumb is kinda in a certain position all day (on the mouse), prolly agitates the muscle. It's annoying as heck though, because I can feel it kinda feel "stretched" right before it twitches.

When I was pregnant, my thumb randomly twitched for about 2 days straight. I happened to be at my orthopedic due to back issues, and he looked at it and said "you probably have carpal tunnel -- a lot of pregnant women get it and it goes away after pregnancy". I asked him if I should see a neurologist and he said I definitely did not need to. Lo and behold, it was gone the next day. That was years before my BFS started, but I remember it clearly because it was the very first time I had googled muscle twitching. I never freaked out, because my symptoms were gone a day later and didn't return until two years later, as generalized twitching in my calves, etc.So, I think thumb twitching is SO likely due to our overactive use of our wrists, fingers and arms, while being on a computer. Just like you're saying. Try not to let it get to you (but it's driving me nuts yesterday and today!) :)Mitra

For 3 days my right thumb is twitching and I am on the edge of teas again. After 10 months of twitching I have "progressed" to like x5 of twitching now. Now I have constant twitching in hip, calf, foot arch and thumb. I never ever had constant twitching in more than one place, I feel like a christmass tree :( I don't know if this is possible to be benign and "progress" in the number of twitches so badly?
