Hello,Just wondering if any of you got a genetic profile from this company as i would like to share my information with you, please post here or PM me.Thanks.

Hey honestly, I think this is total BS. And I am someone who actually worked in genetic field. This screening will only lead to one fact: it will produce hypochondriacs!!! They cannot tell you what diseases you will get, but only if you are above average risk of getting it. Do you really want to know if your chances of pancreatic cancer are twice as high as for an average person? Espacially as there is no cure for that and the risk factors are ..hoohoo..unhealthy living??? I think genetic tests make sense if there are special familiar things (types of breast cancer etc), where genetic factors play a huuuuge role (like the risk is about 80% to develop this cancer) AND where this will lead to a better surveillance . But lets say you are diagnosed with 60 above-average-risk-factors...you cannot run to the doc evera day to check you for another thing....I think this isa very bad idea especially for people with health anxiety..just my 2ct..

I think it's pretty useful when you have a mystery condition and all the doctors are taking random guesses at you...I found pretty useful stuff there, i have ALL genetic risk factors for celiac disease wich is up to 87% attributable to genetics, and 7X risk compared to the average joe, now i really find some support to a gluten free diet, i will try it for a few months to see if there's any improvement. In my case the *beep* i experience can be caused by only a handful of things so having some support to what i think is helpful, especially when it could be fixable with something as simple as a diet. As a coincidence i have increased markers for all autoimmune stuff known to man except rheumatoid arthritis and MS. Knowledge is power, i got past the als scare a loong time ago so i don't worry about diseases that aren't curable, cuz there's no point right? i do worry i could do something to improve my condition and i'm not doing it because my doctors don't know what's going on.I didn't ask for your criticism, i just asked if someone has done it already and wants to share ... I don't see why you saw my post as a recommendation to get screened ...

I wrote this because this forum is full of people with health anxiety and many people with this are "jumping" on any possibility to get "control" over diseases. This is why I wrote this will to a high percentage not be helpful at all regarding their life span, but will most likely make them even more phobic. I would not have critizised these things on a board with people of average health concerns, as it is everyones own choice to get tested on whatever he wants to.
