Common Twitching in Thenar Muscle?

I'm wondering if a twitch between the thumb and index finger on the back side of the in the thenar muscle is fairly common? I'm not freaking out about it but just wondering if this is something that a lot of folks get. I haven't had it a whole lot in my 9plus months but i get a lot of new stuff all the time so no surprise. Thanks in advance.

One of the commonest I think. It is good thick muscle working a lot especially on typing, so it is good place for twithces (if one can say so)

Hi there, shanny reporting... ..this is my new hotspot...on my left hand between my thumb and forefinger...very annoying and of course u can stare at it for hours and hours cos it's right there.... ..I'm waiting for it to start in my right hand because god forbid it misses out...nothing to worry about my friend...it's just a twitch...hugs shanny

I don't know if this is typical, but I used to get hand and finger twitches a lot (and elbow ones, which were the most annoying), but over the years, they have subsided, and really only affect my calf-muscles for the most part these days. We are talking of a period of years though, and it took several before the upper-body twitching began to subside.

I get thumb and finger twitches when I bend them towards each other (or downward). I had an MRI and everything done....said it was nothing. Possibly Anxiety or BFS.My thumb is the worst, like if I bend it to my index finger it'll start twitching. Sooo annoying, but if I ignore it I notice it less.
