Chronic Symptoms Improvement Since Nov

I haven't really had a relapse of symptoms since I started this back in November. I've had new symptoms come and go (the usual change in fear from limb to bulbar) and I've had the random twitch here and there that I no longer fear...but I have not had what I would call a flare up.Here's what is going on the last few days:My ankle is stiff (not side-to-side but up/down)Both legs are getting these tiny butterfly twitches..fine twitches that sort of tingleMy arches and my palms have had achy/crampy/painMy body seems tired...arms are tired, neck is sore/tired, etcMy jaw has had a few of those jerks againMy tongue has felt funny (few twtches and tingly)throat is gooky and hoarse...still not sure if hoarse is the right word. It's almost like my voie/thraot resonates because of all the crap in it (which very well could be an allergy problem...but it's been going off and on since Feb)I'm just wondering if all of this would hit with a flare up. I've worked very hard at not getting all panic driven anymore. I wish I could say that there isn't any part of me that still worries about the big bad disease. I still have passing thoughts about it...but at least it doesn't consume me anymore.Jess

Hi Jess. I have so many of the same symptoms as you lately. I consider it a flare-up because the symptoms calmed down for a while and are now back and different. I have pain in my hands and ankles, maybe even stiffness now, whereas before, well I won't bore you with the details. The symptoms were just different.I'm trying to remind myself that BFS/BCFS changes all the time. No twitch or cramp is any worse than another. Once I/we internalilze this information, we will feel better.

This post makes me feel better! Past couple weeks I stressed myself out and have started going into hypochondria-mode, and the twitches have come back on, with some new friends. I had the tongue one last night in bed (which was freaky) and the toe one several times. Ugh, disturbing.
