Damm good post Aaron, I reckon it sucks as well. I have pain in legs something chronic, not to mention the twitching. The most help I have had from my GP is to take Asprin, it's just a joke!!

Hi Aaron
I agree i wish my nasty Neurologist could get this condition. and try and walk with chronic foot pain, calve cramps stiffness and all the rest that comes with BFS/PNH. So i could tell him there was nothing wrong with him!

How do they not know about this condition and the effects it has on people. Why do they choose to ignor or help us or treat us with respect!!
WHY!!!!
It must have been around for years!!

I too think we should come up with ideas to bring this condition to the attention of those in the medical profession.

My firts neuro said it was all in my head and the second said rudly there was nothing wrong and i was wasting his time (*beep*) sorry!

To thing he gets paid thousands of £££S to treat people like S**T is unbelievable.
I would like half his wage!!

Chris.

I agree with you Chris!

In fact, I sent an e-mail to a well know Norwegian neurologist and wrote that he could find more info. on BFS in this website. He answered to me and wrote that he knew about BFS, but only from literature. In literature it is described as benign condition. It's strange that some neurologists believe in BFS and others do not!

Aaron,

Yes, remeron is for depression, but it is also approved to treat sleep apnea....now you probably don't have sleep apnea, but i mention that because the greatest benefit i got from remeron was good sound sleep...all night long. That actually seemed to help with the leg fatigue/pains. Anyway, it is just a thought based on my own experience.

Take care,

Gary
