Chronic Leg Pain After Stretching?

I had this happen 2 years ago and just recently yesterday.. both legs became so painful it was hard to sleep.. i took ten hot baths last night just so i could fall asleep for a half hour.. the pain felt like all of my muscles from my hips to my toes were streching.. like if you were to stech your legs to become more flexable.. but the case was i wasnt flexing nor had i done any activities that would cause this... also the pain felt like my bones were made of ice causing a deep internal pain.. anyway it was weird.. im just coming off it tonight 4 mgs of klonopin and a hot bath has helped.

any theories? or experiances?

I have experienced this stretching thing, albeit without the pain. It is most annoying, but I don't have any theories. The best thing I have found personally for pain is to exercise; which I know for some is very difficult.

Hey aaron,
Right at this moment, I am in agony with hip flexor pain. I am reluctant to assume it is bfs related, but I saw your post and found it interesting that we are experiencing similar things.

It feels like an overstretched muscle, aching and pulled, plus for me it radiates deep into the joints way underneath. Really painful, I must say.

Anyway, as EyeoftheWild said, getting up and moving around seems to help me quite a bit.

In fact, I first noticed it when I was on a really long drive...so I think it may be a sort of stiffness that sets in from being in the same position for too long, the remedy for which is movement and motion.

I hope you feel better soon.

Blessings,
Sue
