Chronic Back Issues and Calf Twitches

Since June, I have had back issues that are affecting my sciatic nerve. In June, my neuro stated that my increasing calf twitches were most likely caused by the nerve being aggravated. My back issues and calf twitches went away (temporarily) in the middle of June after I was given anti-inflammatory steroids.

Everything returned at the beginning of August.

How do you know its "sciatic"? Is that something the doctor tells you, or because of x-rays?

have had serious bouts of sciatic pain since 98 when i initially herniated 2 discs.

I have had sciatic pain since having my children (now ages 4 and . My chriopractor has said that one hip bone is higher than the other and that it compresses the nerves in my legs. All I know is that it hurts like the devil! My mother also has it, so I guess it is hereditary.

i know exactely what u mean the last three or 4 days my back has been killing me and also my knees and feet feel numb oh well what to do gonna just wait it out i guess nothing else i can do
