Catch 22: Training for Adventure Race

Gah! I'm letting this stupid thing get the best of me and it's tickin' me off! I really, really want to train for this adventure race in September but my legs are hurting so bad right now I just don't think I can do it and that's annoying to me. It's like a catch 22. I'm so tired and weak, I know I need to build up some muscle and get exercise, but then I'll be tired from that, but then I'm not sure how this BFS crap will play into all of it, blah, blah, blah.

Has anyone started or restarted an exercise program since BFS began in their lives? I know Basso walks alot and I know Jeff does triathalons but I have a lot of pain/cramping and really not that much twitching so it might be a little different. ? Lately I've had this CONSTANT cramp in my calf and the lower part of my hamstrings.

Anyone have any advice?

Thanks-
Melissa

Before BFS I was already walking and biking.... After BFS I started weight lifting and taekwondo..... Most days the exercise seems to help with my s/s... but I have to rest between sessions otherwise I get very sore and the twitches take off big time... There seems to be a fine line in what my body will tolerate and I try to listen to what my body is saying......
My advice is go ahead and start your exercise program and see how it goes... Don't let BFS hold you back from doing what you love.... :)
