Anyone have the twitches that you can see but can't feel? I was looking at my legs today and I could see the twitches but couldn't feel them. This has me so scared right now cause I thought I read that in ALS most people don't feel the twiches. Suddenly I'm on that dark road again.~leslie

Deep breath Leslie...YES...we all have twitches that we see but cant feel...and sometimes even ones we can feel but not see.You are still just BFS Normal hun. ;) ~*~Amy~*~

I had that a few weeks ago, Its nothing I'm own to worrying about something else now. So relax you will be worrying about something else soon enough and forget all about it.

Hi LeslieWhen that first happended to me (i.e twitches that I could see and not feel) it freaked me out too but I have learned with time that this is just another mainfestation of BFS. RegardsSimon

Amy,I am taking my deep breath now. Ya know, it's always something with this. Just when I get things under control something new comes along and scares me to death.

I was just noticing that in my foot today. I sometimes think they are gone, but NOPE! They are never gone! I look at them in the light or sunlight and my foot is going nuts twitching. Does anyone notice that in the sunlight you can see way more ?? I think sometimes you just get use to them and dont feel them as much anymore, but when I am going back to the dark side... I start thinking that is it ***, b/c I can see them and not feel them.

I think there is a huge range of twitches. Some are "larger" than others... I often feel them in my fingers (like vibrations). In the toes, sometime you can see, yes with the help of the sunlight. Most of the time thy shout "I'm here", but those are the ones that catch my attention after 2 years and half!

I just posted on another thread about seeing twitches I couldn't feel in my calf yesterday while on vacation in Palm Springs. I spent thirty minutes treading water in the most beautiful pool and then got out to lounge on a chair. I looked at my calf in the bright sun and could see it moving slightly even though I felt nothing. I felt a little anxiety but remembered the information is not really new. I knew I twitched. I knew I twitched in my calves like everywhere else. I have been for a year so nothing really has changed. I guess I am probably a 24/7 calf twitcher like many others here describe themselves. I may twitch other places I can't see more often than I do.Krackersones
