Can Lesions/Tumors Cause Twitching, Pain?

I was just wondering if some kind of lesion/tumor on spine can cause this twitching and pain in legs? I just have a hard time believing it is BFS. I havent had a MRI of spine and wondering if anyone knew if it was related? I do get lower back pain.

I have had the pain in the legs. It lasted for months in 2007. After one (I repeat: one) visit to chiro the pain literally disappeared. I can't believe it happened. Very rare I can feel that such of pain after chiro treatment. I wanna say that spine can produces different strange sensations. I don't think it is related to any tumor or similar nasty thing.
