Calf Twitches: Severity?

I know everyone is getting tired of hearing about calf twitches. But, I am just wondering how bad everyone's calf twitches are. Even though, I get random twitches, my calves seem to be the worst and area of concern for me. I seem to have twitches 24/7. However, sometimes able to go 1.2 hour to an 1 hour without a twitch. They do seem to have gotten better since the beginning of all this, which started 10 months ago.

Does anyone know of anyone who has ever actually resolved twitching totally. Thanks in advance for any reassuring thoughts.

I started twitching 4 years ago and during that time twitched for about 4-6 months from what I can remember... then it stopped until I started again in Sept of 06. So I am in my fifth month of twitching again....

My calves look like mice are fighting to get out 24/7 (thumpers, ripples, rapid vibrations, etc) at any given time I can see at least one HUGE one a second, sometimes many a second. This has been going on for 15 years now.

I run all the time, lift weights, and cycle. No weakness at all.

You’ll be fine. Just read my tag line.

That bunny (picture) is named thumper... he lives in my calves and makes me twitch.

I can’t complain about his existence though because he helps me run like a scared rabbit too. He’s a strange little rabbit as he prefers to runs after people rather than getting chased :)

Just ask my wife, I chase her around all the time.

Thanks guys, I knew I would find words of encouragement. I hope someday I will be at a place emotionally and physically where I can offer support for others. I think I may be slowly getting there, after 10 months of twitching.

Thanks again,

Terri
