Calf Larger than Thigh Unevenness?

Hi all,
It is normal to find cases where one calf, one thigh or an entire limb is bigger than the other, however, does anyone have a calf of leg 1 bigger than leg 2 but the thigh of leg 2 bigger than the thigh of leg 1 ??
Does anyone have this ? Please reply.
Thanks.

This actually makes sense to me...especially if you are somewhat athletic. I guess I'm just picturing a soccer player. If they kick the ball with their right leg, then the right calf is probably more toned than the left given the different foot movements involved with kicking (extra pointing and flexing and such).

Now if you visualize kicking a ball with your right foot, you end up with your left leg supporting you in somewhat of a squat position---which will in turn strengthen the left thigh. Bingo---there you go.

This analogy could very likely be applied to overall physical activities. I'm sure certain muscles one one side of the body compensate to make up for 'different' muscles that are stronger on the opposite side. Hope that makes sense.

I'm no expert---but I can see why your measurements would be opposing as you say.

Hope that helps :)

I think that is entirely possible, and normal. Most of us go through life never bothering to notice these things, only when our attention is drawn to it do we see it. It never ceases to astound me how many features on my body I never noticed before that suddenly pop out at me now that I am looking. You would think that 40 years living with this body, I would know it better. I didn't even notice the difference in my calf sizes until last year in full panic mode...then looked at old pics and saw that I have had it since childhood. I would say that if your legs are different as you describe, that you have likely always been like that, it's just that it didn't seem important to look and compare before.
