Buzzing Sensation: Any Ideas?

I know buzzing has been discussed before but my feet really have a prominent buzzing sensation. I feel it especially in my heels. How many of you have this and how often do you get it? Has anyone discussed it with a knowledgeable doctor? I am assuming it's muscle activity. Could it be anything else?Krackersones

Krackersones,I have buzzing in my foot on and off for years. It wouls d last a week then be gone for a while then back aGAIN. I never thought much of it. I also have had the buzzing in my knee and fingers/hand and elbow area. I know that it is nothing because I have had it over 10 years. I have never even thought to ask a Dr. I am not sure what it is. I am guessing just a nerve tingling or a small muscle twitch. Nothing to worry about.Sue

I have the buzzing in the arches of my feet, heels and calves ... maybe not all the time but very often. I feel it everyday at some point. I think its like very fine twitches? For me it all started at the same time as the twitching.Mc

I also have the buzzing feet on and off. Many of us on the forum report this symptom. It is consistent with BFS.LInda

hello. i am new to the buzzing after all over twitches for about 6 months and twitching began in my calve muscle about 10 months ago. the buzzing began in my left breast. that one stopped after a day or so and then the other day i noticed that the bottom of my foot was buzzing when i got out of the shower. i have a heated floor in the bathroom so i thought that it was something to do with that at first, just as i thought the breast buzz was a cell phone on vibrate-- but nothing mechanical, just me.

I wonder if anyone has had an EMG *beep* into a muscle that was buzzing. For some reason, my body felt more normal while lying on the EMG table than it did that whole day or after I left so I don't think a muscle with active symptoms was pricked. The doctor was already expressing annoyance at my asking lots of questions and seeming to be too aggressive in trying to run the show so to speak. You would think that someone has had the buzzing tested directly. Don't doctors want to know what this is? The doctor who did my EMG did assure me that the bad disease signs are always there if the symptoms are being caused by it even if the symptoms are not active in the muscle being tested during the EMG. I get the buzzing too. I get in it my hips, back, throught and face. Its very strange, like others described it. Like I have my cell phone in my pocket but its on vibrate. I have not had my EMG yet (Oct 27th) and am still super scared of MND, even though the DR's are not concerned.Lately though I think my symptoms seem more of an autoimune nature, with the transient low -grade fever, the weird sensory stuff, numbness, and brain fog, cold hands, flucuating blood pressure and heart rate, and internal tremors.I made an apointment with a Nautropathic Dr for next week who specialises in thyroid testing. So maybe she will help me pursue this futher. My Primary care wants to wait a month and then possibly refer to a Rhumy. I also made an appointment for a second-opinon with a Neuro but t hat appointment is not untill Nov 12th. I need to see if I can get one sooner.

I get the buzzing, but not in my feet. I have it 24x7 in my left hand and arm...it is most distressing when it pulses and the muscle in my elbow twitches...
