alyLeoNCali,

Thanks for the reply. I have not been doing very well the last couple weeks. I have had a significant burning sensation all over. It comes and goes. It started Nov 22nd. I have had a couple good days in between then and now.

Is the burning painful? I have been experiencing pain/tingling sensations off and on since June. I also have the shakiness sensation when I do half a sit up and try to keep it there. At first, the tingling/pain was limited to my left arm and leg and lasted for part of a day and seemed to involve the nerves/muscles. My muscles started twitching at the same time - that is what drove me to a neuro who diagnosed me with bfs. Since that time I have seen the neuro 3 times and have had a battery of tests - all negative. (I also have sought a second opinion at a major university medical center - negative again.) The pain/tingling progressed to a point where it occured all over my body for 2-3 days at least once a week. The tingling feels the same as when your foot or leg falls asleep. I have asked the neuro what it is and just got a shrug. My 1st neuro put me on neurontin which has eased the pain but not the tingling - which interferes with sleep. My second neuro prescribed pamelor but I didnt think that helped. Maybe neurontin will help with your burning. As for the shakiness, I can't figure it out other than being part of the bfs thing.

Good luck.

For what its worth I also suffer from the yawn shakes . Also I get burning sensations up both of my wrists and arms, have for over seven months now.

Good Luck

Can you describe what the burning sensation is like? Is it like your skin feels like its "burning"...or is it like your muscle is burning (internal burns).

Cause I get a burning sensation on the surface of my skin down both of my legs every once in a while (like on my thighs). Not sure if it is linked to BFS or not...

Thanks.

Quick question ... those of you suffering from a burning sensation- Does it seem to coinside with anxiety? When I did my first internet search on twitching... and saw the bad disease can cause twtiching, I had the worst three days of burning on my thigh and arm! Just curious!
