Burning Sensation and Facial Twitching?

hi all, i got this burning sensation in on side on the face sometimes, localized on my left chin. I also only got twitching activites on this side of the face? bad sign? anyone else experience something like this ??

Dear Ooops,I have a strange sensation on the right hand side of my face on and off and have since all of my symptoms began which was about six weeks ago. Actually the first abnormal thing that I noticed was the problem in my face. Mine is not really a burning but more of a tightness that alot of times makes my face feel warmer on the right than the left but not really to the point of being like a burning. Of course in the time since then I have had a variety of odd things take place but I still have the facial stuff come and go and actually I am having it occur today as a matter of fact. I did have my emg done yesterday, although not on the face but on my leg and the neuro gave me the diagnosis of bfs. I hope this makes you feel a little better about your facial issues, it made me feel better to here that someone else besides me has had issues with their face as well, not that I would want you to have them I would much rather you feel normal, lol.Take Care,Mike

Not in the face but had that feeling in my foot. At first I was convinced hot liquid was leaking on my foot but --- there was nothing there. The feeling did get regular and a therapist manipulated my leg and it stopped for a while; she said she had patients complain of this feeling before and attributed it to stress in the nearest joint or tension where nerves and muscles meet at a nexus point (or something like that). Now it comes back from time to time when my thigh or hip muscles are cfs'ing and I sometimes find I get get rid of it. So it is not an unheard of problem and maybe you shouldn't worry. Is your jaw or neck very tense? Maybe a good massage will relieve it.....
