Burning on Both Legs - BFS Help!

I get burning sensations behind my elbows. Sometimes my left hand feels numb, and my pinkies have given me problems in the past. I find that relaxing the area helps. Nobody seems to know what exactly causes this nor how long it's going to last for, but it's comforting to share with others that are going through the same thing. Is there anyone out there who has surpassed this?

I have a burning sensation on the outside edge and heel of one foot, especially when I stretch my leg and rotate my foot. Almost feels as if something in there is too tight. The heel is numb too. I told the neuro - he stuck pins in my foot then ignored it. I twitch all over all of the time. Hope this helps - it helps me to read about others with these wierd things!

In my beginning stages i had really bad burning sensations all over body every month or so (last about a week or two). I haven't had them since june maybe. Perhaps this is part of the crazy course of bfs or whatever we have.

I was laying awake last night trying to figure out what could cause the burning feeling... I do think I understand why burning most likely means no NMD... because there are two different types of nerves basically...Afferent Nerves and Efferent NervesNMD's...I assume... are disorders of the efferent nerves, also known as motor neurons. If you're having a burning sensation, then isn't this a completely different nerve in itself? (The Afferent nerve or sensory neurons)Afferent nerves send signals from the muscle to the brain (like a burning sensation), efferent nerves send signals from the brain to the muscle...Again..I'm just guessing...I think too much...but it makes sense to me... maybe BFS involves more than just motor neurons?

Yah...had this good a few weeks ago just before I went off on stress leave.I had it all over my legs and arms. It went away when I removed myself from the stress. It's just another example of our hypersensitivity to stress. :)
