Hello Everyone, A Google search on finger twitching brought me to this site. I have been greatly reassured on reading through a lot of the threads and of course Alonzo's BFS in a Nutshell post. I wish Alonzo or someone else would a do a similar post contrasting BFS and Parkinson's disease because the the BFS in a Nutshell post was mainly concerned with with BFS vs. ALS. Strangely enough I was always worried (and I still am to some extent) about PD. Briefly, my symptoms consist of twitching fingers in my left hand, fluttering left upper eyelids and twitching upper lip (also on the left side, give me an Elvis sneer or so I imagine until I look in the mirror and it is hardly noticeable). These twitches come and go. I have occasional twitches on my forearms and calves and these could occur on either side of my body. It is easy to rule out ALS because it has been 16 months and the symptoms haven't worsened. But PD is altogether another beast because its progress is slower. Greatly appreciate any info. BTW I am 53 YO.Have I told you guys that you are a lovely bunch of people? And ain't internet great?
