BFS Symptoms: Twitching and Hot Spots

Anthony,
From what I have read the twitching in one spot is a hot spot and fairly common. In my case it is my right calf. Also, it's not uncommon to twitch in other places besides your hot spot. With a diagnosis of BFS from your doctor, I would be reassured. On this site there are people with hot spots, multiple site twitching and all over twitching. Go figure?!?

Take care, Kristin

Be confused no more! this is classic BFS, I have Have been twitching in identical areas for ten years. It has gone from my lower right leg ,up the right leg, lower left leg,up the left leg, left arm to right arm.( I guess you get the picture  )

Anthony,

My BFS started around Christmas time 2003, and my diagnosis was confirmed 7 months ago. Your pattern of twitching matches mine pretty closely. I twich constantly, in my calves and often in the arches of my feet with roving twitches occuring everywhere else 24/7. The twitching in my calves varies from being noticeable to only visible, not felt, but it continues constantly. I don't think there is any one pattern that fits all, but your case sounds like classic BFS.

Cheers,
Heath
