BFS Symptoms Intensifying After Injection

Hi,
I had a steroid injection in my back last friday in hopes that it would quiet down my leg parathesia and cramping . MRI showed l5,s1 protrusion with tear.
It has done the opposite and has seemed to aggravate the BFS symptoms intensely. My arms are buzzing and cramping, I am twitching more in many muscle groups and I am waking at night with leg cramps and fasc.
Anyone experience this, and if so....will this all calm down. I am at the end of my rope today.

I have read those steroid injections can exacerbate BFS, because the nerves can be irritated with the procedure itself. Did they inject under a fluoroscopy machine. There are a lot of side effects with those injections. We do them at the clinic where I work. Alot of times you will have an exacerbation of symptoms for a couple of days or so, then it will calm down.
