BFS: Stress-Related Symptoms?

Yes--i have buzzing too--it moves around and eventually goes way--sometimes after days sometimes after weeks--I have had it all in 9 years of twitching--I am sure the stress of your daughters's illness was the cause of the BFS--Stress related to a terrible accident my daughter was in and other things at the time caused mine--A long time ago I decided there was noone who could help with BFS--most doctors are clueless --some want to help but can't--drugs do NOT help--what helps is to chanel your energy into what is going on in life around you and not to waste energy on BFS---

I have had that buzzing to the point where I almost black out. I believe it is a mild panic attack in your case. They can sneak up on you even if you don't "feel" anxious. I've had a few of them believe me. I hope your daughter is well. My BFS symptoms started when I became unemployed. Then when I started to get better, my dad had a mild heart attack from a blocked artery. When I went to see him at the hospital, the anxiety gave me one of those light headed fuzzy buzzy kind of panic attacks. Our minds are so powerful. I pray you can find some peace. At least you know it's definitely BFS and that is a GOOD thing. I have experienced a myriad of things with BFS and the ensuing anxiety. Dizziness, pain, numbness, tingling, loss of appetite, pins and needles, buzzing, you name it... You'll be fine, keep your head up and enjoy every day of your wonderful life... I find that getting out in nature is a wonderful thing :)

God bless...

Thanks for your responses, fellow BFSer's. My daughter is doing very well and is very blessed. I deal with her illness quite well now. It was early on that was so difficult. But, in hindsight, I think I have always been a natural worrier that stresses easy, so I guess anxiety and BFS are just a part of me now. Unless, of course, one you finds a miracle treatment. And if you do, LET ME KNOW! :)

yep - I have the buzzing/vibrating tremors. They were just in my legs but last night I woke up at 2am after a nightmare and my head was buzzing. Mine is almost constant - I also worried about PD because it felt like a "resting tremor". The way I'd descibe it is the feeling you'd get if you had your foot resting on a tractor or loud speaker and then pull it away. Mine almost feels like a pulse sometimes. I've had twitches for a few months... these tremors are about 3 weeks old for me.
