BFS: Limited to a Certain Area?

I seem to have symptoms only in both legs / feet. The rest of my body is O.K. Anyone else have the symptoms "limited" to a certain area? Just wondering if BFS has to be "everywhere". Also, what about constant sensory (burning/buzzing/tingling) in this area? I know many have constant twitching, but how about constant sensory?ThanksJanet

I have sensory symptoms (tingling/prickly feeling/burning/hot-cold sensations/pins & needles/neurological migrating pains/buzzing) everywhere... but i would say 70 to 80% is in lower limbs and among them 70% below the knee.An other area is the top/rear of the scalp where i have mostly pins & needles feeling. This bother me more than twitches ...

Janet,I have had exactly what you are describing for two years. I have constant fatigue and soreness in my legs due to (I think) the constant buzzing/vibrating/humming sensation in my legs. I also get the light burning feeling too. This usually happens towards the end of the day. However, these symptoms are non stop for me. I've been told by a couple of Neuro's that they can find nothing wrong with me. I've had all the tests too. This is driving me insane!CDC

Hmmmm....I would give anything if my nerves would just CALM the ***!!@#$%^%$@! down. Sorry, it is driving me insane as well.Janet

YES..I have the constant sensory symptoms too. Mine are only in the calves and they consist of shooting pain, electrical current feeling up my leg, buzzing, vibration and over the summer I had the pin pricks in my feet and ankles. I am going on over 5 years now with this and it still makes me crazy at times. Mine is worse after exercise but calms down at night when I am in bed. Has anyone ever tried magnesium supplements? I was told that taking up to 500mg a day might calm down the twitching. I am going to get some mag-ox and try it out. Kim

I would say the vast majority of my twitching is in my legs. My legs (especially my calves) are my number one issue and are guaranteed to twitch every single day. The backs of my ankles have become a new hot spot for me too.I get roving twitches elsewhere too though, though not everyday, in places like my arms, stomach, butt, neck, jaw and lips. The ones on my lips, throat and jaw tend to really scare me. Also get them occasionally in my hands and feet. The more anxious I am though, the more widespread my twitching becomes.
