OKay, set me straight. After countless novenas, I got thru the NCV/EMG two hours ago and dr said its BFS!!!!! Also testing me for the antibody. The dr also said my back/neck/trap burning and spasms and funky head pressures/earaches etc were from myofascial pain syndrome. So I have to do a little delving into that. Little sister of Fibromyalgia. Thats what I believe kicked off the BFS. The pain is intense in that area. Anyway, you know what Im going to ask..... I sort of still have some unexplained throat/tongue issues. He did not poke my tongue. I had NCV/EMG in two legs and one arm. He did my cheek as well. No tongue. Could bulbar still be in play? My understanding is that b/c I have been twitching in my limbs, the test would have picked up the bulbar ALS. Please make my evening, is that true- twitching and clean EMG 3 limbs = no bulbar as well? This experience taught me so much about what is important in life. Months of living hell, as you all know from your own experience. I can't wait to snuggle my kids tonight and sleep not giving a hoot about the cramps and twitches. God is good. No, God is GREAT. On the feast of our Lady of Lourdes too. JUst a good Catholic girl with BFS! Pyrs (Linda)
