BFS & Chemical Exposure: Discussion?

I have read the survey where some have listed being around certain chemicals at the onset of BFS. I used the search function but most of what I found was related to chemicals from stress. Is there anyone who thinks a chemical exposure caused their symptoms? Are you aware of any threads discussing this? Thanks.

PrickLedPin: Are you saying that you believe this is true generally, or just in your case? The reason I ask is because there were some who apparently listed being exposed to "chemicals" around the start of their BFS. Now there wasn't any explanation beyond this, so that could simply be a coincidence, or they could suspect that to be the cause of their BFS.

I for one think that chemical assault on the nerves can most certainly lead to twitching. I believe that some pesticides actually list muscle twitching as a potential side effect to exposure. Many paints/solvents list cns damage as side effects.Take care,Gary

Gary,I actually talked to someone over the poison control center in our state and, if I remember correctly, they stated that while poisons could cause 'twitching' (and other related issues) they were, as far as she had ever heard of, not permanent and usually go away after you are no longer exposed to them or get them out of your system. I took her word for it and haven't thought much about it since, that is, until I read where some on the survey listed that as a possible cause.
