Hi.

I have posted before, and most of you feel that I have BFS.. my neuro is thinking along those same lines... new thing that I am nervous about: tight feeling in calf - especially at night... anyone else out there have the same?? It feels like it needs to be stretched, but stretching doesnt help. HELP!!!!!!!

GMC,

I've experienced the same feeling but in my left bicep. It would even burn it was so tight. I too got no relief from stretching. It went away in about a week or two.

Hang in there!

Thanks Barb!

To everyone out there... my story began with finger twitching in November. I went to a neuro and had a typical exam... everything was fine :) Since then, I started noticing some tingling, and this calf tightness stuff... I called my neuro.. she is still not particularly concerned... she ordered and MRI for me to ease my own fears... Is this similar to anyone else's story? I feared ALS for a while, but am now reassured that it is NOT ALS... now I am a bit fixated on MS... anyone else?

Ahhhhhh... this is hell.

My twitching started in my left index finger. It would bob up and down, then it went to the left side of my face, arm and leg. All left sided at first. GP did an MRI as well and told me as long as you are not experiencing true weakness (falling, can't get up from a chair, dropping things because you aren't strong enough to hold a cup etc.) ....you're fine.

The fear is hard to shake. For me it's been almost a year and I still have relapses into that bad place of fear and anxiety.

Take comfort in the fact that there is probably someone on this board who has experienced the exact same symptoms as you. So, you're not alone!

Together we can beat this :D)
