BFS and Morning Weakness?

Anyone else wake up with morning weakness? First thing when I wake in the morning my arms just feel dead, like they are asleep.. my right leg too.. sometimes just putting one leg in front of the other feels like i have concrete in my shoes.. as the morning goes on things get less stiff and weak.. is this normal for BFS?? (sorry to post so many questions, i'm just so freaked out and I have so many questions!)

Yes completely normal! I've read some of your posts and you really need to try and relax and trust your Doctors. No weakness and clean EMG means no ALS!

thanks so much yall for your replies.. I know I totally need to chill out.. I'm fine (well, i tolerate my crazy mental state most of the time)but then something will happen, where I slurr my speech, grab something funny or feel like my legs are so weak that I go into freak out mode again.. Thinking about my kiddos, makes that freak out get soooo much worse too! Today I just tried to go shopping (which i haven't done in years for myself anyways) and my arms start trembeling just when I tried to hold a few clothes or reach up to grab clothes off the rack.. and my right leg continues to feel unstable like i will fall or twist my ankle (it has felt that way for over 8 weeks now, but seems worse at times).. makes my mind start wondering to the bad things!

OMG, welcome to the weird-right-leg-club...LOL....it is funny, you sound so much like me , my right ancle also feels weak and my arms tremor like hell sometimes. It is worst when you lift stuff that does not really weight tons, but just enough to tense your muscles a bit. I have this with mostof my muscles since this started: if I tense them slightly, they will shake. No matter if it is the arms or the facial muscles...

So glad to hear there is someone like me out there that has been dealing with this too!!! I will never forget about 8 weeks ago when I leaned on my hand with my arm and my whole arm just trembled, I thought wow can I not even hold myself up?? I used to get bad wrist pain, while crawling after my kids (when this first started) but that has seemed to resolve.. and now that you mention it, I did have a harder time reaching up and carrying a few clothes around yesterday and less time carrying my 23lb 8 month old. huh. strange! Maybe I just need to shop more and get back in practice! :)
