BFS and Jaw Fatigue/Pressure

Just thought I would throw this out here instead of Google ( Google is EVIL I tell ya)

I have been having jaw fatigue and pressure when chewing my food. Is this something that tends to happen with BFS or is there anothercause ofr this?

I get that too sometimes. Do you grind your teeth when you sleep or clench them when you get upset or have anxiety? That is what does it for me. It is all so much fun isnt it?! Oh well at least we are not alone!

I get this, but I also grind my teeth during sleep and clench my teeth during the day. I had to have 12 crowns because of this because I destroyed my teeth. A dentist mught give you insight on this.

I had jaw fatigue for a while too. If you are taking any kind of SSRI's that will also do it. I had trouble chewing, my jaw got sore, tired, etc. It went away though. It's BFS and stress as well. When I posted about it somebody replied with "don't try to attribute EVERYTHING to your twitching". So, I took their advice and it surely went away ... :)

Stress, stress and stress. It's amazing that we can't use the human mind to move a car because it seems like my mind is that strong sometimes...

I've had numerous bouts of thinking my jaw was getting weak as I chewed food. I was convinced I was losing weight because the tired jaw syndrome (that was a symptom of something sinister) was causing me to eat less.

After awhile I got sick of thinking about it and it just disappeared. It's all in the head.

A thought though...do you have TMJ or something similar? My jaw cracks all the time and I think this has something to do with my jaw being tired and sore sometimes. I have no choice but to "pop" my jaw numerous times a day. It's a pain (no pun intended), but on a relative scale, I'll take it.
