I HAVE HAD BFS FOR 3 YRS NOW,RECENTLY FOR THE LAST 2 MONTHS I HAVE BEEN UNDER LOTS OF STRESS AND DEVELOPED THESE MOTORS RUNNING INSIDE MY HEAD NECK LEGS ETC.I AM WORRIED ABOUT THIS BECAUSE I DO NOT SEE ANY POST ON THE INTERNAL VIBRATING FEELINGS. I FEEL LIKE MY HEAD IS MOVING BACK AND FORTH WHEN I LAY DOWN. ESPECIALLY WHEN I WAKE UP AND TRY TO GO BACK TO SLEEP.MY LEGS WILL JUSST FEEL LIKE THEY ARE MOVING INSIDE..KIND OF CREEPY FEELING.MY DOCTOR SAYS IT IS NERVES, CAN NERVES JUST SHAKE? FOR 2 MONTHS! WOULD APPRECIATE ANY FEEDBACK.

I've had the internal vibrating feelings. It was worst for me a couple of weeks after the twiches started, and freaked me out big time. It would be in my legs, and one night I thought my wife was shaking the bed, except it turned out she wasn't there. I get it occasionally in the lower part of my face and skull now. Normally this is only noticeable in bed for me too.

That is how all this started for me before any twiching.
I would ask my kids to feel my legs they thought I was crazy.

I still get it at times when I lay down to sleep.
I have gotten it mainly in my legs but have also had it in my arms and head and even my tongue.

I get vibrations in various places from my ribcage to my hips. It lasts only a couple of seconds. The first time it happened I thought it was my mobile phone receiving a message in my pocket, then I realised I didn't have my phone with me..

I've been having "nose vibrations" on and off for a week now. Again it only lasts for seconds but can be lots of times during the day. I'm not at all worried by it, it's merely mildly irritating and I know it will pass.

these internal tremors and shakes are probably a lot more related to anxiety, I think they are a symptom of BFS but made a lot worse by your anxiety problems. Ask your doctor for some beta blockers, if they dont work try diazepam to calm u down.

I have had them for 8 months. First started in my back, then legs and arms. When they hit my arms, it became visible - such as when I hold a fork, I can see that it's shaking. Lots of other things came after that - still not sure what it is.

I'm taking Klonopin, along with Tegretol. I still feel the shaking, mostly later in the day. I'm taking a very mild dose. The Dr. has just added 3 mos. of B12 shots to see if that helps - I've had very low energy lately.

i'd like to know the answer to this one, because i feel that more than anything else it is having a heavy impact on my quality of life. i don't feel steady and coordinated on account of my tremors and shakiness. when other students from my lab at the university invite me to play basketball i say i'm not in the mood, but i'm dying to play just not confident that i'm steady enough. don't feel comfortable going hiking with the group i used to go with from the school because with the shakes might cause me problems. i'm not sure, i might be over paranoid about how bad the shakiness is right now, but if it hasn't destroyed my ability for more physical activities, it's certainly eaten away at my confidence.
