Hi all,Well here I am just moving through 2 1/2 years of BFS. Some good times some bad. Seems as though the winter sets off my BFS. But having shaken the fear of MS I've been looking at my association with this and fibromyalgia. When I was in my late 30's I suffered some very bad Fibromyalgia sessions in my back specifically between the shoulder blades. I'm wondering if my BFS is brought on Fibromyalgia or vice versa. I struggle to control my body temperature during these episodes. The other night I'm at midnight mass and I've a jumper, shirt and jeans on and yet I feel uncomfortably hot. I'm in bed tonight my back muscles are in knots and I can't put the duvet on as I'm boiling. The wife is sleeping blissfully in her pyjamas.I was going to go back to the Neuro and talk about the last 3 weeks. I've kept a diary and besides the fasics in my calfs and quads the thing I've noticed now is that I'm not weak but over exertion in my arms has a lower tolerance level to tiredness and pain in my forearms and biceps. I'm going to ask him to run tests to eliminate MS (as far as they can) then ask about Fibromyalgia as a catalyst. What's other BFS/fibro people's journey
