BF Symptom Improvement - Vitamines Helping

dear alli just wanted to let you know that my bfs symptoms decreased dramatically. the twitches still show up, mainly with nerval provocation through nervosity, to much of coffee and so on but 95 percent of the twitches are gone. I am sure, the sole of the foot still twitches all the time but I don't even look it up and don't feel it anymore. i take vitamines (b-complex, vitamine d), vegan omega 3 and magnesium. I am even capable of drinking coffee again, something I couldn't do 6 months ago. I am sure that the beast still hides and waits for flaring up again, but I try not to give it the opportunity anymore.

That is excellent! Though BFS often persist lifelong in some degree, it is nice to hear of such a drastic improvement. Many people with benign fasciculations would cure by magnesium itself but they give up after few weeks or months. With 500 mg, 2x per day, you need to wait nearly year to see the changes. Not saying it is cure, just something that people should realize.Thank for your great news!Docen

coffee, alcohole, excercise are so called vitamine-robbers, mainly the Bs and magnesium. it may be of help to substitute them..well i hope my stuff does not come back after a coincidental read of a scary study in the "experience with bfs" section...;)

passé;-( since I have come back to this forum and having read the uk-study in the "experience"-section my nerve system overacts again: underlying nervosity, panic attacks at night avoiding me from falling asleep and twitching again. *beep* crap! well i try to get rid of it again, and probably best is to avoid this forum here.

laurent, as your twitching got worse after reading that study, you have nothing to worry about. if you had als,the fasciculations would not be affected by stress or stimulants.docen

I think we are on the same boat with a difference, your running is better than mine and possibly my pushing is better than yours.I didn't feel my twitches to the right buttock during the training session. Ironically, there was a guy sitting on the vibra-plate...Have a nice day.

it is getting weird now. not only that i have not slept for days i begin to have an underlying nervosity reminding me to the restless legs syndrome. i also have sudden pains with movement impairment in the hand and foot....;-(
