Benign Fasciculation Syndrome Commonality?

Hi,

when I saw my neuro over a year ago he mentioned that he saw a few benign fasciculation cases ( he didnt call it a syndrome ) a month.

I was wondering whether the general view of neuros was that BFS was quite a common disease, and was something that they often saw?

Would be intersted in what other BFS'ers on bfsforum.com have been told about the commonality of this disease.

GinniferLynne,

I was wondering about your doctor and how he diagnosed you. I also went to one of the top expert ALS doctors at methodist hospital in Houston and would be curios to compare notes. Mine Diagnosed BFS and told me that it never ever turned into ALS and just curious if yours had the same information or anything else. Please feel free to pm me as well I would love to ask you some questions.

Thank you
Leigh
