Battling Depression: Finding Meaning

Tewest99

Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. Like you my daughter had to leave school because she crashed and burned for a while.
Lexapro has helped with the depression. For a while I was afraid to leave
her when I went to work because I knew she would be in bed all day crying. Sometimes you do not find the meaning of being tested until much, much later. Like you my daughter has different priorities now and
feels she in stronger inside. Like you she misses the physical person she
was a year ago. How I wish it were me instead of her.

I am glad you are doing so much better. My daughter is planning to return to college away from home. I am a little afraid because I will not be able to look her in the eye, hug her and tell her she will be OK. She will have to find new Dr.s and bring her records and maybe register as
a disabled student in case she is late walking up the hills to class.

But we are determined to keep going forward too. We need it for our mental stability. Everything is so much more precious now and put in the proper perspective. Thank you for the prayers and I will continue to keep
you and the others in mine.

Seminole's Guardian

Hi

I am pleased that Seminol is feeling a little better. BFS is a horrorble condition to encounter. I think because not many people get this condition,it is put on the shelf and thoses who suffer from it are left to get on with it.

I have recieved very little help and have to put up with chronic pain on a daily bassis as i have BCFS. family and freinds do not under stand so this site is a God send.

I think there should be more awareness of this condition (BFS)so more help is available and more understanding from poeple who do not have this nasty condition. This would also bring more awareness to ***.
What these people must feel like who have *** is beyound comprehension, as i know what i felt like when i thought i had the condition. I can not talk to my family as they all think i am mad.
this is because my Neuro told my there was nothing wrong, he said. "Clear you head and you will clear your pain"
What a good doctor (NOT) his bed side manner was pure horror and he was no help what so ever. He was a pure*$*&* and should not be a doctor.

Please let me know if you need help in any way to bring awareness to BFS or ***, and please keep me posted to how thing go with your awareness campaign.

Good luck and god bless
Chris
