I just got back from my neuro. and YES 
he knew about BFS, he said everything looked and felt normal!! He said I was very strong!! He said "Ihope you leave here feeling reassured." He does not think ALS from what he saw, but he ordered a emg (this monday) just to be sure.He said, and if that comes back clean, you have BFS and it will just have to run its course, he said he thinks its(bfs)broughton by avirous he asked me if I'd been sick before, and I really don't recall, other then a bladder infection. I may have had a sore throat. He made it sound like bfs symptoms where the stress thing and not tolerating exercise, that was a good sign for me because that is the two big things that bring mine on. He said any meds He could give me might help some but it wasn't worth the side affects. Also to probably make me not feel stupid for thinking the Als diease He said you're right twitching is a sign of ALS , but usually there is weakness first!!! anyway I am feeling much better, and I am going to believe him, and when my emg comes back clean, I am going to go forward!! I leave in 2 weeks for an Alaskan Cruise andI plan on enjoying it with or without twithces!!!!
