Back After 2 Years – Twitching & Lifting

Hey everybody, It's Eric. I've not posted for a while, because I kind of got used to this crap. Still twitching like crazy, it never has subsided. It's been 2 years and almost 2 months now, and I'm still going strong. Still really strong in the gym, in-fact, just as strong as I was in college. Been lifting heavy for about 8 months now, and definitely no loss of strength. I've gained 15 pounds as well. I'm doing ok, but I really can't stand this stuff. If anyone finds a way to make it stop, I'll pay you a lot of money :)

Glad to hear you are doing well and somewhat at peace with this stuff. Staying active not only helps you physically, but improves your state of mind as well. Thanks for the update.Becky

Thanks for posting. I always love reading your posts. I do agree with you, even though it's benign it really can drive you nuts. Somebody really should look into a cure or at least some medication that really helps the twitches.

Good to hear you are doing well (even though growing impatient with twitching). I am managing my symptoms well, as they are mostly gone. You could try my tack as I decided I was storing my tension/stress in my muscles and learned how to work through it. I started with reading Dr. Sarno's books and adapted his techniques to suit myself (his books are mostly to do with back pain but the method is not exclusive); as a result I'm much better and feel that it is under control now. You have to, I think, have gone the full cycle as you have, have an open mind, and see where it takes you. Good luck on whatever path you choose.

i have found a combination of Cymbalta (60 mg), Klonopin (1 mg) and ThreeLec (probotic) has really helped to slow my twitches. almost a non-issue now.

Where can I purchase the ThreeLec? And what are its benefits? I havnt heard much about that one, and I'm interested. Thanks so much for mentioning it.

Probiotics generally don't establish well in digestive tracts where they are most needed usually due to an overgrowth of yeasts and fungi. Since probiotics are generally pretty expensive, I'd recommend taking supplements that are anti-fungal in nature and adopt a temporary diet that strictly avoids sugars and sweeteners of any kind to help clear out the excessive fungi and yeast first. Otherwise your probiotics will be largely ineffective and you'll spend more money than you need to with fewer if any results to show for it.
