Arm Twitching Feeling Without Seeing?

Hi there bfsers,It's been awhile since I have posted. I have had Bfs for 2 years now and had two clean emgs. I still haven't had an MRI but the Dr didn't think it was neccesary. I was wondering if anyone ever gets the sensation of twitching in their arms without actually seeing the twitches? I get a lot of visable twitches too but the feeling of arm twitches bothers me. I still get scared from time to time that this is serious but I have had it for two years now. Wish it would go away.

You can have twitching in any skeletal muscle. This can be in the superficial muscles that lie on top where you can see the twitches as well as the ones that lie deep or beneath other muscles. So it is not surprising you can feel a twitch but not see it. I also used to get what I think were subtle myoclonic jerks in my body from time to time. But they went away for the most part.

I have had deltoid, bicep, and forearm twitching over past several months..fairly constant. I don't mind the leg twitches as much now because I'm getting used to them. But I know what u mean...the upper body makes me have to relax mentally or else I'll be googling.

I've got to say I'm in the same boat. Twitching for two years, but seems like now I'm getting more arm and shoulder and abdomen twitching, especially while lying down (to the point of waking me up). I've always mainly been a calf twitcher with random twitches everywhere else, but it seems to be migrating. Not liking it and it makes me nervous. Not sure why, really. It's not reasonable. It's just the change that bothers me.

Maybe some people are on a much slower time scale than others. My twitching went body-wide within 3 weeks. The migrating happened on a daily, and sometimes hourly basis.

It just really sucks that this twitching all over just stays with us. For me after two years the twitching luckily hasn't gotten worse but it hasn't gotten better. I hope one day they figure out what causes this annoying condition.
