Anxiety-Related Symptoms: Tongue, Swallowing, PND

In the past week I reported my tongue doesn't feel right like it's too big and my swallowing feels wrong. My tongue is always tense and pushed against my teeth. Mouth is dry. Now I have post nasal drip that won't clear.I know that *** doesn't start in your limbs and your throat all at once, it's either or. This has to be anxiety related? Zoloft is what I started last week and post nasal drip isn't a side effect.

I have Chronic Obstructive Sleep Apnea, so I have some explanation for the post nasal drip. As for the tongue, if my cervical spine ends up being fine, then I can't explain its behavior.

Sounds like you have bruxism. When my anxiety flares up I often clench my jaw in my sleep and will push my tongue into my teeth causing a scalloped tongue appearance. I even experienced the "wide tongue" symptom as well. I attribute this to being hyper-vigilant over my symptoms, and to my tongue being slightly swollen from thrusting it in to my teeth.
