Anxiety before Neuro Appt.

Neuro appt in the morning @11 am. Been tossing and turning for 3 hours. Just took a xanax to try to get some rest. I will be getting results back from the bloodwork and mri. Its weird how different days can be. You can feel like you can barely move 1 day, then you can get a little good news about something, and alot of the symptoms subside. Neurologist did tell my neuro surgeon to go ahead with my back surgery to fuse my lowest vertebrate to to next 1 up. I would assume he would not recommend the surgery if something else was found from the test. I keep thinking about a saying from the shawshank redemption movie. "Get busy living or get busy dying. Thats gosh *beep* right." Easier said than done.. PS, my sister called and said she just finished working out and when she got home, her upper thigh started twitching a little bit. She said she knew how I felt now. I laughed and told her to multiply that by 100 and then we can talk.... Just needed to vent. Regardless what the outcome will be over the next month or so, this forum has given me a little peace of mind. And I'm telling you, a little is worth alot when youre feeling like I have been for the past 5 weeks of mental hell. Thanks to all.

I hope all goes well (and I'm sure it will). For what it's worth, the first couple of months are probably the most difficult with the tests, anxiety, etc.
