Anxiety about Left Leg Twitching

Hi, back again im having a horrible day with anxiety about my left leg, I know I probably shouldnt be constantly looking but I 24/7 twitches in calves but in left leg theyve started in my thigh which really scares me thanks to dr google, when I wake up in the morning my let leg is stiff an aches so do my feet, I can also feel a twitching in my left buttock, I suppose my question is, is it normal for one leg to do this or should I be worried, I had a neuro app with no clinical weakness the other week but am not reasured and am waiting for emg, im constantly living in fear ive measured myself all over and have a slightly smaller left buttock but otherwise seem to be symetrical, I cant seem to function anymore with this on my mind
 
Hey Sheridan, I was ok anxiety wise for a couple of weeks but last night I almost took a panic attack for no reason, don't get me wrong I am constantly anxious in the background as I am always worrying or thinking about my symptoms but anxiety wont let you keep it in the background forever !! ... Anxiety will come and go but be aware that when it comes it will most likely heighten your twitching.. I felt all anxious and a bit light headed and i looked at my calves and they were twitching away all over and i couldn't really feel them all ... so it freaked me out even though I have been there before.Try sitting up straight and take in a deep breath and hold it for 4 seconds and exhale then repeat this about 6-10 times.. Its helping me.. Apparently this simple breathing exercise helps bring your body from fight or flight to a more relaxed mode.
 
Cheers anx guy, its a killer worrying all the time, I cant really feel my calves either unless I their in jeans or sat still but if I look they do my head in, I dont feel any weakness and thats what I keep telling myself, its a bad day cuz im home trying to do essays n time alone gives me time to think (bad thing) better of busy.
 
I am sitting at my office desk and the calves are buzzing away but I have been there before and they settle... That`s what you should tell yourself too !!walk about and try not to sit still all day and try your best to reduce the anxiety.Almost everyone here seems to have health anxiety / general anxiety, its definitely a massive factor for me. Don`t for get to do the breathing exercises !!
 
sheridani freaked out the other day cause my left hand is bigger than my right hand..i posted here for some advice/reassurancebasically it means nothing without weakness.my husbands hands are the same!!
 
Bubbles is right ... we generally have a stronger arm or leg etc ... usually your dominant hand as in the only you use all the time... And you might look a little less symmetrical but that can be down to posture so please don't worry about small things like that...
