Anti-fungals: Short-Term Relief?

Jenn - this is 80 New Zealand dollars, so it would be about half of that in US$. One box will last you a month if you take 2 packets a day. Or 2 months if you take one.

And no, the anti-fungals do not do the same thing. The drugs address the immediate problem and provide a short term relief. But as soon as you stop taking them - the problem is back! In fact I was on them too, and they would get rid of thrush for example, but the twitching, buzzing, fatigue... that would never go. Worst of all they have side-effects.

Threelac is a natural product containing 3 streams of bacteria that address the underlying imbalance going on in the body. What Threelac does is create a healthy environment in your gut so that fungus cannot grow... it doesn't have anything to feed off. So it ends up dying and you end up getting rid of it by having regular bowel movements.

I realise I sound like a salesman but I just want to share my "success story" with you in hope it will help someone else too. I'm only 30 and 2 months ago I felt like an 80 year old about to die. And I am not exhaggerating! Now I feel like I'm 12 again!

Thanks for the info Tui. Yeah, I was on anti-fungals, but only for a month or two (I can't remember, but it wasn't long at all). I actually remember feeling better after taking them for a couple of weeks, but as I was still taking them, I relapsed, contributing it to the cyclic nature of all of this (at least for me).

I think if I am going to have a yeast problem, I'd need to rid myself of it for a while, especially if it was really hunkered down in me.

Jeez, I am willing to try anything at this point.

I tried working out today (4 lb, dumbbells and a 20 minute walk) and I am DEAD to the world. Does anyone have that kind if intolerance? I used to be strong! Not only do my muscles aches and are weak, but the other symptoms cascade (twitching/burning) and, this is weird, I feel like I have a sore throat. But no cold....

i hear this is an antifungal and is primarily used for yeast infections.but it has helped fof twitching also. can men use this stuff i am willing to try anything that might help it cant hurt

I have a question about this yeast thing. Can't someone eliminate the yeast in their body by just eating right. I met a nurse in the ER and she told me the same thing she thought my problems were from yeast. She told me to stop all sugars, eat meat, veggies, good carbs, some fruit and the yeast will eventually leave your body. Wouldnt eating a good diet do the same thing? Thanks..Jenn

Yes of course. All it takes is eliminating ALL sugars, ALL yeast/ breads, ALL fungal products (i.e. mushrooms), ALL processed foods, ALL alcohol, ALL coffee/ tea... and like that for AT LEAST 3 months.

I've been there, done that... and all I can say is it was impossible. Anything you grab onto in the supermarket has at least some sugar in it. And we're talking here even about honey, fruit and canned tomatoes... so anyone who's ready for that - good luck!

yes it is very hard but I had to follow a gluten diet before and that was really rough but I was able to have certain ice creams and some canned foods but I would not be able to even have those would i?

My allergy test showed that I am allergic to yeast, it does not bother me when I buy store bread but when I make my bread and add yeast to it, it bothers me. It does not bother me in other foods either, do you think this stuff would bother me? i know it is hard for you to tell but you said there was very little yeast in it? Is it the good yeast that is added? I dont know why they would add it if we are trying to get rid of it...Thanks in advance..Jenn

Ok I could not do that diet..lol..nor do I want to...lol..I can surely cut back on the sweets..I crave sweets, I have to have it everyday. Lately I find myself saying, " I have to go get something sweet because I am all out." Really bad lately, I just cravvvvee it..

Maybe I should give that stuff a try. I have a great natural food store here that I frequent so maybe I will check it out..Thanks alot..Jenn

Thanks so much, Tui, for sharing your experience using ThreeLac! I know from personal experience how debilitating systemic candida can be, and I can't help think you are on to something here, so I'm going to work on cleaning up my diet (yet again).

I have slacked off quite a bit recently, and I know I always feel my best when I follow Dr. Robert O. Young's dietary guidelines (see The pH Miracle) and when I focus on alkalizing -- which fights candida and produces results similar to using ThreeLac. Your feedback provides just the incentive for me to get back on track. Thanks so much!

Smali, you might also want to look into the benefits of alkalizing, since candida thrives in an acid environment, and many other diseases are directly related to excess acidity in the body:

FWIW, for others in this thread, alkalizing also helps tremendously with, sweet cravings (which I've heard is the candida talking), digestive distress, etc.

This is very interesting Tui. I'm sorry to bump this but I've really had enough with BFS, it's driving me mad. I'm 19, and I've been buzzing, twiching, tingling, clicking etc. for over a year now, I hate it.

How is the progress coming on for the people who've tried it? I might consider it because I've grown tired of BFS, it seems like I've had it forever! Keep me updated. :)

I am here, still alive and kicking. :D)

I still take Threelac (2 packets a day) and, generally, feel really good but with occassional pins and needles, and random twitches on my body that are rare. I still have floaters too but have come to terms with the fact that I will probably have these forever. They probably bother me the most though, especially on a sunny day.

Some of you may have read that I've been to see a neuro about a month ago and she doesn't think there's anything wrong with me. In fact she said I had benign fasciculations that may be caused by anything, including food.

She did say I can have an MRI if I want. I said I do want to, but I still haven't been.

One thing I've noticed since taking Threelac is that I haven't had a cold since then. Not even a sore throat or a sneaze. May not be connected to Threelac at all but a strange coincidence given that I always used to suffer from colds at least a few times a year.
