Agreeing - Reflux Diagnosis

Hey Amy and Dee Dee,

(Glad to hear your doing better Amy :D)

Well, the ENT barely looked at me. I told him my symptoms, he said it was common and gave me Prevacid and Diazepan (sp?) for relaxing he esophageal muscle. I, of course, asked him about bulbar onset stuff, and he told me to put it out of my mind (yeah, easy for you Buster!)

I'm going back in two weeks, but he seems pretty sure this is the problem (acid reflex disease). Yesterday, I didn't have symptoms at all, today they are horrible!

Thanks SO MUCH Amy, for the link. I'm going to check it out now.

Thanks for the support and I am going to do my best to try not to worry

Sounds like a good appt. Ginny. Now, just get the term "bulbar" out of your head (at least try ok...). I never knew about the reflux problems (other than the typical heartburn) until just this last year too. In addition to your meds, try avoiding carbonated drinks and greasy food for a while. Should help. Also, seems that stress and anxiety are factors--so do exactly as you say and try not to worry. Just keep yourself busy with other things, and I'm sure it will ease up soon. Congrats on the good appt!

Amy
