Hi everybody!New Stepp in my twitching history that lasts 2 years and 7 months by now.Spreading from the calves to many other parts of the body. No real weakness. Atrophy? Hmmm. Not really. The big muscle on the outside of my left hand is twitching, cramping and aching. And it’s smaller than the one on my right hand. Maybe because I’m a right-hander? Same with my legs. The right one is a little thicker then the left one. (0,5-1 cm = 0,2-0,4 inch). Same reason, I guess.I try not to think about that too much. But of course I’m still worried. All clinicals were fine. Fascis were visible, also on EMG. Diagnose: BFS.Since two months my tongue is twitching associated with weird sensations like buzzing… That really scares me. I know I’m not the only one. Now I’m sure I’ve problems with speaking. It feels like my tongue isn’t moving as fast as it should. And tired. So I focus on every word I say. How to move the tongue… Of course that makes it getting worse. I’m really tensed when I’m speaking. That’s so annoying. I’m afraid of that bulbar version. On the other hand side it shouldn’t move from the legs to the hands to the tongue within more than 2 ½ years without leaving serious damage there. Then I think: you’re young (34), maybe that’s a reason why it proceeds slower…What do you think about that? Similar experiences? Thanks and regards.Andy
