A Decade of Health Through Twitch

I have read of many, many people on this board that have flare ups when they are sick with a cold or virus.

I haven't had a cold in years (knock wood), or at least since my twitching began.

But again, if you search the archives, you'll see you are definitely not alone.

I find that sneezing alone, without even having a cold or flu makes me twitch more - weird but true. Every time I sneeze I will start twitching usually around the eyes, other facial area or neck.

Hi everyone, Thank you for the replies atleast I know Im not alone
and its not unusual for this to happen. I am starting to feel better
though now I have a nasty cough. I sure would like to have the recipe
from Stevepual and Ginny on the no colds for years that would be
awsome seems like I get atleast three a year.

My recipe for avoiding colds.

Steve.

My twitching started with an ear infection and hasn't stopped since. You may have seen articles about BFS being related to an autoimmune response, so it would definitely make sense. Here is a link to a recent article about this:

Take care,

Stevepaul, I think it must be the the exercise from walking the dogs
along with the tea and the few goodies like the pie (yummy) :) and
the sandwich because I dont think the ciggs are doing the trick and
the afternoon nap and that healthy supper in the evening must give
you some mega immune builders and lots of good luck  Oh well
if the recipe dose the trick have at it ;) Its better than hacken your
head off. Im curious to see what Ginny has cooken so I can decide which
recipe to go with. I hope she dosent make it hard for me like have to run
alot or lots of exercise  or I might have to take up smoken and
and start walking the kids.

Bill, Thank you for the link i havent checked it out yet but Im going
to try to here in a bit. Im wondering if sudden severe anxiety would
cause an auto immune response? Just wondering. forgive me I dont
even know what an auto immune response is I just know mine started
with anxiety although I did have a infection one week before it all started.

On amore serious note.

Well done Bill (j_sageurge) on finding the article. The principal author of this paper is the head of a new study currently under way at 3 centres, 2 in the UK the other in Israel. They are looking for further antibodies that can cause PNH and how they affect nerve function. The results of this research should be available in early 2007.

Regards Steve.
