Hi allConstant calf tiwtcher for 7 weeks.....i have touched upon this before but last night really really worried me. If i am strecthing out on the sofa and lift my leg up to look at my calfs i can see loads of little spasms going on. ie where the twitches last for about 1-2 seconds before relaxing, and they hurt!!!This went on for about 30 mins and when i went to get up my calf was so so so so sore. Can someone please confirm they know what i mean?Really freaked out here :( Chris

I perfectly know what you mean.Even my self I've been challenged by last night twitches. Strong painful twitch to the back of my neck (never had it before), legs, abdomen, back, flanks. Fireworks!!!Today muscles aches (the ones have been twitching the most).I don't know what to think anymore about all this, but I've been investigated a lot, I've been twitching for 19 months and my physical performances are unchanged.

You know what i have had it with this.....what my calf is doing today cannot be benign, its just impossible. twitching over 100 times a minute, all big ones, can feel them all....non stop. How can that be benign? it must be something serious to cause this :( Getting to the point where i just wanna go to bed and sleep all dayas, as i soon as i wake up this nightmare begins. I know when i get to see a Neuro he will just take one look at this f***king calf and think ALS, he would be not much of a neuro if he dosent.I dont have a hotspot i have a continous big thumpng in same place, over and over and over and over and over....I feel sick

Also, watch out for worrying yourself to death and making yourself sick. IMO, that will do far more damage to your health than anything that could be causing your calf to twitch. Humans aren't designed to be in flight or fight mode 24 hours a day.

Hi Chris! Please dont worry! You should see my calves, they go 24/7 some big ones, many little ones and ones that you see but not feel, they freak me the most!My neuro, who I visited back in March this year told me he could tell when I walked in that I was fine!Weakness is what they look for!! Twitching without weakness is BENIGN! You will be ok!!Best wishesSandra
