32 years old. Last two weeks twitching mostly in left toes , foot (toes move all over the place) "Weak feeling" in left leg. Now perceived tightness in muscle that raises foot along with ache in left leg/foot. By the way, I have been worrying non - stop about this, on the internet looking up symptoms then seeming to come down with them. For instance, initially only had weak feeling in left leg with ache pain in hamstring area. Found ALS online for some reason read about twitching then started getting twitching couple days later, now reading about stiffness and starting to feel stiff in muscle that raises foot. By the way I am leg pressing over 600lbs, doing 200lb. leg extensions and 150lb. calf raises along with lunges, riding bike. wouldnt this be a sign of no als? i keep trying to tell myself that. If my "symptoms" were als wouldnt i not be able to do what i am doing? i have a history of being a bit of a hypochondriac and this isnt my first time with als. 5+ years ago i had weak feeling in both legs with twitching, was sure was als. Obviously, it wasnt......thanks for any help or advice you can give me.

trust me you don't have ALS. your experiencing hyperexcited nerves that for some unknown reason just go haywire in some people. now if you lost movement in a limb, or your balance for a short period you would need to get examined thoroughly, until then , ignore it man, your normal. ;)
