3 Months Into BFS: A Review

Great post Chrissi, I'm sorry for all that you have had to go thru, but you sound like your getting to a good place with this...I hope the pain issues settle down....looking forward to the next installment to your story in 6 months....best wishes shannon

Hi Chrissy, sorry I missed you today...I'm going to go with what Shannon said...you have made tremendous strides in dealing with your BFS, being that it is still early for you...I think you are one of the fastest I have ever seen get control of the anxiety so fast...but please dont let that statement ever prevent you from coming to us or posting if you have set backs, it happens believe me..and you will always find support here among your friends. I'm so happy to have met you and been able to share our experiences as you have also helped me see some things more clearly....I really hope the pain you are having subsides for you soon...lots of hot baths, and massages are what got me through the roughest part of that..oh and Ibuprofen, lots of Ibuprofen :D) Take care and hugs to youRobynn :D)

Chrissi,Thanks so much for posting this. Our stories are so similar, except I have yet to make the strides to treat my anxiety. I'm seeking help through a naturopath first (who did a hair analysis and found fairly high levels of lead and mercury, but from what I've read those tests can be skewed by what lands on your hair, and what products you use on your hair - so I might have to follow up with blood/urine tests), and then will probably start on Lexapro. I'm like you, I don't tolerate the SSRI's very well for about 4-5 weeks. It's really hard, they make you feel so strange, and drugged (not in a good way!). But, then they clear and start working very well.Anyway, I'm so grateful for people like you, who really have made my life that much easier since my twitching started. A heartfelt thanks to you, Chrissi.Mitar
