27 Year Old Hypochondriac - Twitching.

Hello, I'm a 27 year old male, in good health, with a slight (ok large) history of being a hypochondriac. I started twitching in my right tricep, but immidiately began looking elsewhere and saw that both of my calves are doing it too. During the last 5 months I have twitched everwhere, arches, calves, hamstrings, quads, butt, stomach, ribs, biceps, triceps, shoulders, neck by jawline, lip, nose, eyes, even scalp. I have absolutely no weakness, but the twitching in my calves and right tricep are 24/7. My biggest question is... if my right tricep (for that matter, my calves as well) have been twitching for 5 months continuous, wouldn't I have profound weakness/atrophy by now. I'm just getting pretty *beep* irritated because I keep getting hot-spots (got one in my left thumb now) that seem to last a while, then subside. I think this is BFS, but like everyone else, I've got this little demon in my head telling me that maybe I am the one person who has twitches for 5 months before I get weakness. Please enlighten me. THanks, Eric

Also, I wanted to make note that I have been a serious weight-lifter for about 10 years now, and I have noticed no drop in any of my lifts. I'm not trying to brag by any means (too in the dumps for that) but I was able to do incline dumbell presses yesterday with 110 lb dumbells. Just seems like if my tricep was twitching (and subsequently muscle dying by now) my tricep wouldn't be able to support that. E

I can tell you that the first experience I had with bfs started during I time in my life when I was working out and running everyday. It was all over twitching like you have had. From what I have seen here you would have weakness by now.
